During the visit, Risma invited Sopiah and her mother to live with her.

“Mother, come and live with me, okay (Risma invited Siti Sopiah). Mother wants to live in my house. Later, you and your mother can move in with me,” Risma said to Sopiah in Pandeglang.

The invitation was declined by Sopiah. Risma then asked her staff to check the condition of their house. She instructed her staff to provide them with daily food assistance.

“Because she doesn’t want to. When we invite her, she refuses,” she said.

Siti Sopiah mentioned that she is the oldest child in her family.

“We live alone together with my mother. People give us food, but we also have our own blessings,” she said.

She has been taking care of her mother since she fell ill.

“It’s been about 15 years because of ODGJ and various other illnesses. She’s already old,” she said.

When asked why she refused Risma’s invitation to move, she said she preferred to stay in her own home.

“Because we already have our own house,” she said.
