Jambiflash.com – A video of an ustadz, who is a teacher in Papua, receiving a sacrificial animal from a new convert to Islam has gone viral on social media. The reason for the video’s virality is that the animal sent was not a goat or a cow, but a pig.
This viral video was uploaded by the Instagram account @undercover.id. The caption mentioned that the sender was a man who had recently converted to Islam.
“It could be due to the local community’s lack of knowledge, and perhaps the sender has just embraced Islam. In their ignorance, there is an extraordinary sincere intention,” the video’s caption stated, as quoted on Thursday (June 20, 2024).
The video shows the pig initially being transported in a pickup truck, which then stops in front of a mosque. Local residents recorded the scene, making it go viral.
“So, what do we do about this, Pak Ustadz?” asked a man in the video recording.
